Paytm, India’s leading fintech and pioneer of QR code technology, has unveiled its year-end travel trends report, ‘Travelpanti 2024,’ showcasing how users explored the world with the convenience of Paytm Travel. From luxurious escapes to spiritual journeys, the report highlights key travel patterns and evolving preferences among users.

Mumbai and Dubai topped the list of most-searched destinations, reflecting a love for both bustling cityscapes and exotic getaways. Younger generations drove affordable travel, with 36% of bus bookings made by those under 25. Travel for concerts saw a 44% surge, underscoring the growing appetite for experience-driven journeys. Tirupati emerged as the year’s spiritual hotspot, while festivals like Chhath Puja and Holi fueled peak travel activity, enhancing family reunions and celebrations.
