With ticket prices ranging from INR 500 to INR 25,000 for premium seats, Paytm Insider’s sales showcase the growing excitement for the IPL.

Paytm Insider’s Goal for a Diverse Sports Celebration

The impressive performance of Paytm Insider in IPL ticket sales has inspired the platform to explore other sports events. Paytm Insider is now considering expanding its reach to include events such as the Tamil Nadu Premier League, Hockey Men’s World Cup, Pro Kabaddi League, and Indian Super League among others.

Khare revealed their three-year BCCI contract and a two-year ICC World Cup contract, along with partnerships in events like National Games of India, FairBreak International League, Khelo India, Hockey World Cup, and The Asia Cup.

With sports rebounding in 2023 after Covid-19 setbacks, Paytm Insider anticipates a growth in sports segment revenue.

“Last year, we didn’t ticket IPL as it was centralised. Sports made up 20% of total ticket value. This year, partnering with six IPL teams and the upcoming World Cup, we expect a significant increase,” Khare stated.

With IPL 2023 captivating the nation and Paytm Insider’s ambitious plans, the future of sports in India looks brighter than ever.
