While the day was all about discussions around all things fintech, the end of Day 1 saw all the industry leaders gather for the Global Fintech Awards at Mumbai’s Jio World Centre. Standup comedian Biswa Kalyan Rath added some flavour of funny at the event. During his act, his praise for Paytm Soundbox has now gone viral.
Praising the fintech giant’s iconic device that has transformed payments, Biswa Kalyan Rath said that he loves the concept of “Paytm pe 40 rupaye prapt hue (Received Paytm payment of ₹40)”. He even stated how this concept became so famous that even other payments apps have used it. “Aap logo ne woh jo speaker ka concept banaya bahot sahi. Paytm par 40 rupaye prapt hue,” he said.
