Day 1 of the 4th edition of Global Fintech Festival ended with the awards night and fintech giant Paytm won big by bagging three prestigious awards. Paytm was awarded the Best Payment Aggregator, Fintech for Good and Fintech Leader of the Year. 

Global Fintech Awards (GFA) recognizes fintechs who have brought laurels and carved out a niche through their contribution to the industry. For his outstanding contribution in the growth of the fintech sector, Bhavesh Gupta, President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Paytm was awarded the Fintech Leader of the Year.

Last year in GFF 2022, Paytm bagged awards in three categories — Best UPI Payments App, Most Design User-friendly Interface Fintech App of the Year, and Most Innovative Use of Technology – Soundbox. 

Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) was awarded the Fintech Company of the Year. Juspay Technologies won the award for Best Startup of the Year and Best Design. Champions of ESG was awarded to L&T Finance and Jar won the Best WealthTech Startup. Kinara Capital won the Best Lending Startup and Online PSB Loans Ltd was awarded with Friends of Fintech. 

The Global Fintech Fest (GFF) is jointly organized by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), the Payments Council of India (PCI), and the Fintech Convergence Council (FCC). The largest fintech conference aims to provide a singular platform for fintech leaders to foster collaborations and develop a blueprint for the future of the industry.
