Honasa Consumer, parent company of skincare brand Mamaearth, recently opened its IPO for subscription. It became the 40th Indian mainboard IPO of 2023, according to a report by CNBC TV18. The Mamaearth IPO opened for subscription on October 31 and closed after the bidding process of 3 days on November 2, 2023. On the third and final day of the budding process, the public offering received an overall subscription of 7.6 times, led by institutional investors and employees.

According to the report by CNBC TV18, the Retail portion of the IPO was subscribed 1.35 times, the subscription received by the institutional investors was 11.5 times. As the subscription process for the Mamaearth IPO is now closed, people who have bidded for the same are now eagerly waiting for the announcement of the share allotment status. 

According to a report by Chittorgarh, the share allotment status of the Mamaearth IPO is likely to happen on November 7, 2023, while the initiation of the refund is expected to start on November 8.

Once the Mamaearth IPO share allotment status is declared, investors will be able to check if they have received the shares or not online. The share allotment status can be checked by visiting the official website of BSE or the registrar of the IPO- Kfin Technologies Limited. 

All that is required to be done is visit either the website of BSE or Kfin Technologies Limited, then select Honasa Consumer Limited from the options provided under the IPO section. Provide details like PAN and other information asked for and click on submit. 

Notably, Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra has also invested in Mamaearth and is expected to garner great returns from the IPO. As per the RHP, she has invested ₹6.7 crore in the company, acquiring over 16 lakh shares at ₹41.86 apiece and will be selling 13.93 lakh shares in the offer for sale (OFS) portion of the IPO. 

According to a report by Live Mint, on an investment of ₹5.83 crore (for the 13.93 lakh shares she will be offloading), the actress is expected to earn around ₹39.30 crore, irrespective of the kind of listing Mamaearth IPO gets.
