The 9th edition of the Global Economic Summit (GES) is set to take place from August 8-10, 2024, at the Expo Center, World Trade Center Mumbai. This year’s theme, “FinTech: Accelerating the Digital Revolution,” will be a focal point for the global fintech community. Organized by the World Trade Center Mumbai and the All India Association of Industries, this event promises to be a landmark gathering for industry leaders and innovators.

The objective of the Summit is to showcase the latest innovations within the global fintech sector. According to the Embassy of India Brasilia, Brazil, the event has garnered support from the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), India’s open e-commerce network backed by the Government of India; Digital Infrastructure Providers Association – DIPA and Digital Lenders Association of India (DLAI).

The Summit, with its diverse array of attendees and participants, presents a unique opportunity for businesses to establish meaningful connections and explore collaborative ventures. By bringing together industry thought leaders, financial institutions, innovators, start-up founders, investors, policymakers, regulatory institutions, incubators, and accelerators engaged in the fintech sector, the Summit will create an environment conducive to networking, idea exchange, and business development.

The key highlights of the Summit are Conference, Exhibition, Awards, and Networking Sessions. “Taking place amid the rapid growth of the fintech sector, which has significantly impacted lives and businesses, the Summit Conference will focus on the transformative role of emerging technologies like Web 3.0, Blockchain, and Generative AI. Leaders from Digital Payments, Digital Lending, Insurtech, Wealth tech, Deep tech, SaaS, PaaS, Cyber Security, and other sectors will discuss the latest trends in their industries,” the Embassy stated.
